K. Anand, a postgraduate in Analytical Chemistry from the University of Bombay, is a senior pharmaceutical leader with over 35 years of experience in Quality and Regulatory Affairs. He has held leadership roles at Lupin, Glenmark, Famy Care (Mylan), Cadila Healthcare (Zydus), and Dr. Reddy’s Laboratories, where he established international quality standards, integrated regulatory functions, and built robust Quality Management Systems.
He has successfully led global regulatory inspections (USFDA, EMA, WHO, TGA, ANVISA, MCC, and others), driving compliance, data integrity, and continuous improvement of cGMP systems. Renowned for his expertise in QbD approaches, dossier filings, lifecycle management, and inspection readiness, he has also been a strong advocate of people development, building high-performing teams, and fostering sustainable compliance cultures. Anand is highly respected across the Indian and global pharmaceutical industry for his transparency, regulatory acumen, and commitment to product quality.
